Tasting Notes for Nomans Dark Rum

Nomans Dark Rum is a blend of 8 and 13 year old rums, aged naturally without sugar. It’s aged in white oak casks, which you immediately get on the nose. The first tastes bring notes of caramel, herbal cola, nutmeg and leather. In the background is freshly roasted nuts. Nomans dark is medium bodied and it lingers, finishing with bittersweet chocolate and coffee.

The History of Nomans

Nomans Rum pays homage to the rich rum running history along the Eastern Seaboard. Nomans Island is a 628 acre rock, three miles off the coast of Martha’s Vineyard, used by notorious rum runners to stow away their liquid gold during Prohibition.

Nomans’ mission is to produce premium spirits and to preserve the exciting tradition of supplying authentic rum to America.
