Receiving Merchandise and Passage of Title:

Laws regarding the sale and transportation of alcoholic beverages are complex and constantly changing. The politics, policies and procedures regarding such sales and transportation are different in every state. That is why you are buying from us in Rhode Island and why title to the alcoholic beverages is passing to you upon purchase. In the event that bridgeliquors.com may ship wine or other alcoholic beverages to your state in accordance with a state privilege requiring the payment of state taxes, you will be charged the sales tax, if any, assessed by your state for that transaction; (This is up to you to report, it will not be charged through us) otherwise either Rhode Island sales tax will be assessed on the sale during checkout. Title to all product intended for shipment to federal property and Indian reservations passes to the customer when the goods are picked up by the common carrier, and Rhode Island sales tax will be collected on all such purchases. When your order is approved by your credit card company, you own the goods. If you choose shipping as a delivery method, you are asking us to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. We make no representations about the legality of shipping alcoholic beverages. Our site lists those states where common carriers will deliver alcohol. You are responsible for compliance with all laws and taxes regarding such shipments. You may also make your own shipping arrangements.

There are two ways to get your product from Bridge Liquors:

1. You can pick up your products at our stores *YOU MUST PAY SALES TAX* (Prices may be different from those of our online store).

2. You can ship your products to yourself or another recipient via common carrier. Any recipient of alcoholic beverages must provide proof of age (over 21 years of age).

  • All orders are shipped Monday through Friday, there is no shipping on holidays or weekends.  Your order will be processed within 3-10 business days and will then be shipped out accordingly. You will receive email updates directly from fedex when your order is being shipped.  Please make sure to check your spam file if you do not see anything in your primary email.  Please do not call the store, they do not have your information.  Please send any shipping questions or concerns directly to bridgeliquors@gmail.com, we will do our best to resolve and/or clarify any issues that you may have. 
  • Ground: We reserve the right to hold shipments if we believe weather conditions (extreme heat or freezing cold) may impact the quality of our product. If you have particular requests, please email us directly at bridgeliquors@gmail.com.
  • In the event that we are out of a product(s), we will make an attempt to contact you, to resolve the issue. 
  • If an item(s) is damaged or leaks in transit please email us with a photo and a description of the issue so it can be handled accordingly. We do our best to insure proper delivery of all orders. 
  • Some item(s) have these or similar wording (When ordering this product please make sure that you order at least X items! If you don’t order at least X item(s) we will cancel your order!!! There is a 10% charge if this applies to you. (X being the value)
  • Please note, sometimes packaging changes for an item before it is adjusted on the website so the items pictured on the site may be different than what you receive. The product is still the same.

When picking up your product at our stores, you must positively identify yourself as the person who placed the order on the Web Site. This also includes providing legal proof that you are over 21 year of age (Rhode Island, or other acceptable state’s Drivers License or Passport).
